One of the greatest things about Hawaii is the picture-perfect weather all year long — sunny and 75. I think they made a song about that somewhere along the way, didn’t they? Anyway, this means that fruity cocktails that are always in season. #WINNING
Lucky for me, this quick vodka-based concoction is both delicious and quenches your thirst, not to mention it adds in pineapple (my fave)!
For two cocktails, you will need:
4 shots SOBIESKI® 100% Pure Rye Vodka
1 cup lemon juice (fresh squeezed lemon juice is best!)
4 tbsp. simple syrup
1/2 cup blueberries (you can substitute frozen blueberries and adding only 1 cup of ice!)
1 1/2 cups ice
1. Pour all of your ingredients into a blender, being sure to add the ice last.
2. Pour evenly into glasses and serve immediately.
*Bonus points if you garnish with a festive umbrella or cocktail napkin 😉
A fun bonus of this recipe is that its eligible for the Dole/SOBIESKI® Cocktail Contest! To win the $100 prize, all you have to do is enter by tagging #SobieskiAndDoleContest with a picture/recipe on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. But Kait, why SOBIESKI® 100% Pure Rye Vodka? SOBIESKI® Vodka is the #1 rye vodka in the United States and unlike its competitors, is not made from potato or wheat, but 100% pure rye. I whipped up this cocktail using the original vodka, but I know that it would be even better using SOBIESKI® Cytron.
If you don’t head into your kitchen to make this recipe right now, I encourage you to enter the contest and whip up a cocktail of your own! If you do – I hope you’ll share the recipe…you know I love a good adult beverage 🙂
What’s your go-to cocktail? Cheers!
