2017 In Numbers

It’s hard to believe we are closing the door for 2017. In my case – I’m slamming that mother shut. See ya never, 2017! For all the ups and downs this year has provided us, I wanted to stop and take a minute to recap our year. I did this for the first time last year (read more here: 2016 In Review) and I loved being able to reflect back on the year as a whole and remember all the amazing moments in one special place. So – I’m back again this year with our 2017 by the numbers!

2017 In Numbers

2 – Number of houses lived in. We sold our first house and moved into a rental. It’s not ideal but it’s safe and the dogs have a nice yard to play in. Plus, right by the water and a beautiful running trail – winning! We know it’s not our forever home and that makes going from owning back to renting slightly more bearable.

Things I can’t quite get a true count on include: number of beautiful sunsets enjoyed, beach trips with Judy + Bill, days spent packing + unpacking boxes for the move we did entirely by ourselves, hours devoted to scouring the internet for cheap airfare, pounds of makeup thrown away after discovering a box I never knew I had…from 5 years ago, trips to the vet for two pups with insane allergies, time spent laughing til I cried alongside Dane, hours spent people watching at airports, happy hour trips to some of our favorite haunts or joy I get from coming here each day and sharing a small piece of my life with all of you.

Here’s to hoping 2018 is the best year yet. Happy New Year!
