Is it even summer if you’re not lounging around on a fun raft? I think not! Some of my aerial raft photos on Instagram are the most popular and I’m forever getting comments asking where I got them, so with summer on the horizon (I think we are all just skipping spring altogether – is that the general consensus?) I wanted to share my favorites for lounging, relaxing and floating the day away. It should also be noted that I typically use my rafts for both pool and ocean adventures, so don’t let the pool float title fool you 😉 Now – on with my favorite floats of the season!
Loving Lately: Pool Float Edition
Let’s get one thing out of the way right off the bat – I am not biased about what I’m floating on or where I’m doing it. Since we hopped on board this trend, we’ve taken our favorite rafts all over the world for a little bit of relaxation….
Before our most recent trip to Tahiti, we stocked up on rafts for the summer fun that is about to commence. Oh who is kidding who – it’s endless summer here in Hawaii (though admittedly it’s been rainy all of 2018 so far!). I was so excited to put our new favorites to use! My favorite, by far, this season is the giant peacock raft. What is not to love? But in all seriousness – the bird is huge. Dane and I both love it for that reason, plus it’s pretty sturdy as far as floats go. Coming in second is the giant octopus, which could easily hold two people. We also love the giant pineapple + whale shark for this reason! If you’re looking for something more simple + just want a round tube to float in (or if you’re heading to a river – simple works best!) – don’t miss the palm print float or lemon float! Now I know you’re all dying for details on the llama float and believe me – I’m just as smitten as you are. While I’ve never floated on that drifting mammal, I couldn’t help but include him/her in this roundup, because hello?! SO CUTE! And if none of these strikes your fancy – you can’t go wrong with a donut, can you?
