TOMORROW! As in, I will not be sleeping at all tonight and cannot wait to get to BWI Saturday morning.
Now I know this isn’t a military homecoming officially. As in, Dane hasn’t been deployed over the past couple months, but long distance is no walk in the park. It’s constant effort, late night phone calls compensating for time changes, and understanding by both of us that sometimes it just plain sucks. There’s really no two ways around that part. We know long distance isn’t forever, but for now–it’s what works and we make the best of it. All of this aside, seeing him only a handful of times per year really makes the time we do spend together special. I’m looking forward to almost 3 full weeks.
In the meantime, watch this and I dare you not to cry. And the crazy dog lady strikes again…
