..then she’s going to want to buy everything in sight. Except that same girl is broke and saving for a wedding.
Except I went anyway, had a fabulous girls day with my mom, and did buy a few goodies for myself without breaking the bank.
Rewind to Friday and I was exhausted. I don’t know if it was a combination of the work week or the raging snow storm out my window, but saddling up to my television and catching up on Girls was exactly what the I had in mind. Maddie didn’t complain either. I also watched Bridesmaids for the first time. Yes, I’m 34957 years behind–but better late than never, eh?
See, look how happy she was.
Just kidding, she really only wanted the peanut butter. She’s a taker, that one.
And thank the good Lord that snow took a hike come Saturday morning, because I had plans to take on King of Prussia come hell or high water. miserable snow storm. Two of my favorite purchases are below. What could possibly be wrong about a shirt that looks fab, yet allows you to stuff your face with as much food as you want? Nothing, I tell you. If loving flowy is wrong, I don’t want to be right. That shit is designer GOLD. And the fancy new ring finger addition? #love–pun fully intended.
Sorry about that weird little box, I actually had to have this gem shipped to my house as everyone else who’s my size decided they needed one too in this exact same color. |
Sunday brought wedding fun by the mouthful. Ohhh that sounded so wrong–but we had our venue tasting! And by we, I mean my parents and I because Dane is in Hawaii. I’m not going to lie–it sucks doing all this stuff without him. All you other long-distance brides can I get an amen? Thankfully he will be home for our cake tasting in a couple weeks. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah.
But I’m not going to lie, I could drink free mimosas all day long, so keep it comin’ pretty people. Those pretty people behind the glasses are my parents. Everybody say HAYYYYY!
And that’s all I’ve got for you. Cheers, peers.
