Hello, Wednesday

How are you?

I promise you, this is just another dose of Random Wednesday with Shanna. Are you ready?

1. Ants. Hawaii is loaded with ’em and I’m on a personal crusade to rid my entire property and the 50 foot radius surrounding it of them. Lofty goals, people, lofty goals. But really, Dane bought out Home Depot’s supply of ant killing gels, spray, traps, and bait. So far, so good. Score 1 for the crazy bug killing lady.

You see, not kidding.

2. I still have no clue where we are going this weekend on our surprise trip and the suspense is killing me. So far I’ve packed nothing. Not. One. Thing. It’s part of my protest tactic in finding out BEFORE I board the airplane. So far it has worked not at all.

3. There is still time to vote for me in Chippmunk’s Expert Shopper Contest. What can I say? I’m mildly obsessed with these pants. And by mildly I mean, I’ve never met a pair of printed pants I didn’t like.

4. I have recently become OBSESSED with home decor. I mean, if you have any doubt, this post should be proof that I’ve turned the corner. What can I say? When you’re trying to take a former bachelor pad from drab to fab–you become obsessed. It’s natural and it’s okay. At least that’s what I tell myself. In the midst of creating my new office, I found Michelle Dwight Designs. If we’re being honest, I originally saw her work on Instagram (the place for all things pretty and inspiring) and knew I needed to incorporate her designs into my home space IMMEDIATELY. Because in my world IMMEDIATELY literally means RIGHT.THIS.MINUTE., this is what we’re working with for now.

One day (hopefully soon!) my office will look like Shalyn’s. Until then, I’m swooning hard for more pretty pillows and prints a la Michelle Dwight, because this month they’re celebrating their birthday! BIRTHDAYBASH saves you 15% at checkout!

5. Big hugs for this girl. Life sometimes just has a way of kicking you when you’re down, no? But there are ALWAYS better days ahead. ALWAYS.

And just when you thought I was already pretty random, I throw Wednesday at you, right? Right.
