There are very few things I love more than a good weekend. Now, if you’ve got a good Monday for me somewhere I’m just DYING to find one of those. Until then, I will enjoy Friday-Sunday as if they are my last days on Earth.
What an utterly sobering and awful thought. BUT IT’S MONDAY! And those are the sorts of things that happen on Mondays, am I right?
Moving on. I’m sunburned so I’m going to keep this relatively short and happy. Much happier than the shade of lobster that’s on my shoulders. That is what one gets for not reapplying (and shamelessly gnawing on turkey bacon hot off the grill…while sipping mimosas…and eating cheesy eggs..) This is what you get people.
When you give me so much good weekend I can’t even string together a perfectly coherent sentence to save my life.
Troubles. The struggle is real.
To be blunt, Dane and I needed a knock-your-socks-off weekend to cap our horrendous week. It didn’t disappoint. How can a weekend be bad when it starts off with Thai food? That’s a trick question. No weekend can ever be bad if it starts with Thai food.
Couple that with an entire day of surfing and paddle boarding, completing a wedding registry and finding time to see one of my very best friends who is in town vacationing with her family. All in all, such a wonderfully awesome weekend. So awesome, in fact, that I only have a couple photos. The perks of enjoying the present, eh?
Happy Monday to you and you and YOU.
