Thanks Are In Order

Recently, Kait and I were
showered with much Instagram-love after she mentioned I was deploying soon.

Alas, this is true. So–THANK YOU. Thank you very much for your well
wishes and prayers, but there’s one person that I owe a huge MAHALO (‘thank you’ in Hawaiian–come on, I had to!)
to…

Otherwise known as my fiancee.

Isn’t she gorgeous?

Not
only does she have time to incessantly Insta, Facebook, and annoyingly
talk to her basset-case friends (that’s you Sarah & Casey), she has done the following:

Pack all the house while I’m gone at work. Sell all
the furniture on Craigslist. Make tremendously delicious dinners. Keep herself motivated to stick with Crossfit–have you seen that hot bod?! And
lastly, love me more than anything in the world and tell me how proud
she is.

I’m truly blessed. I’m so thankful for everyday I
have with her and these days leading up to a deployment. I cherish the
little things. It’s only an extended business trip kicking ass for
‘MURICA!–while you blog friends enjoy all the freedoms we have in this
country.

I look forward to rejoining my other half soon.
Until then, stay tuned for Afghani blog posts by CPT America (me) and
perhaps music video parodies with my soldiers. I mean, who doesn’t
want to be a YouTube sensation overnight?!
