A Weekend at Four Seasons Lodge Lanai

Hawaii, Lanai, Travel · September 3, 2013 · 8 Comments

2019 Update: Unfortunately, Four Seasons Lodge Lanai has closed. See my updated Four Seasons Lanai post for more info!

Four Seasons Lodge Lanai

I feel like when I look through my entire blog feed, everyone is talking about pumpkin spice at Starbuck’s, boots and scarves…and also, the big adios to summer. Meanwhile, over here in Hawaii, I’m looking at my car thermometer and it reads 91 degrees with no real promise of moving anytime soon. The thought of drinking something warm with boots on makes me sweat just thinking about it.

Thankfully, I DO have an upcoming trip to Italy, where I hope to break out some of my favorite pairs of riding boots. Double win.

Labor Day weekend was spent back at the Four Seasons Lodge in Lanai for Dane and I. Do you have those places that you visit and they, immediately, become your new favorite destination? That’s how Lanai is for us. Once we found it, we knew we would be making many, many more trips back.

Kicked off our trip with a 10AM impromptu happy hour. When in Rome, eh?

Waiting for us upon arrival in our room were these amazing cookies and this cake for Dane–all made fresh by the Four Seasons’ award-winning pastry chef. It was amazing and we were SO IMPRESSED! The cookies were delicious and the cake was chocolate ganache filled with whipped chocolate mousse and dark chocolate cake. I’ll let you decide if you think we inhaled it or not 😉

Social media cookies…I am IN LOVE (heart-eyed emoji)
These pool cabanas were exactly as I imagine heaven to be and the perfect spot for relaxing!

All too soon, it was time to pack our bags and head back to Oahu.
And just one more…can’t get enough of this sweet face!
