So, I’m taking a page from Kelle Hampton on my blog post title and I don’t care who knows it. Sucking the marrow from life. Pulling all the chicken from life’s bones. However you want to look at it…
There is a lot to be said about enjoying the moments. All of them. Good, bad, pretty, ugly–all of it. And no, I don’t mean sitting and enjoying one solitary moment and then quick grabbing your phone to try and upload something cool to Facebook or text your friend/mom/work bestie. I mean truly unplugging and forgetting about everything and anything other than what you’re doing in that exact moment.
I quickly snapped this picture last night when Dane surprised me with a romantic dinner set-up for two by the water at our friend’s restaurant. After that, I tucked my phone away–never to be seen again. #hansonpartyof2
We laughed, we cried and ultimately–savored every single moment with a delicious gluten free Italian feast prepared for just the two of us. It was such an amazing night.
This week? More of the same. Forgive me if I’m more off-the-grid than normal 🙂
Have a fantastic week, everyone!
