Thank a Veteran.

Each and every day, men and women across the world fight for our daily freedoms. They fight alongside the memories of those who came before them and pave the way for those who will fill their shoes one day.
To every veteran, past and present:
Thank you seems inadequate for the extreme sacrifices you and your families have made for this country. I am so grateful for all that you do and have done–usually for little recognition. I have never been more proud to be an American.

To my own veteran:
You make me proud every single day. You are braver and more resilient than any person I’ve ever met and I admire the strength you show in protecting not only me, but hundreds and thousands of people you have never met. Your dedication to service is humbling and I am inspired by you daily. It is a true honor to call you mine. I love you forever (and a day).
