Our Wedding Shower + My Bachelorette Party

Well, well, well…if it isn’t Tuesday already.
I don’t think I’ve stopped going since last Friday and whew! Time really flies when you’re having fun. It’s not wedding Wednesday, yet, but my weekend was chock full ‘o’ wedding activities up to and including my bachelorette extravaganza!

First things first, my amazing bridal party threw Dane and I the most beautiful bridal shower on Saturday afternoon. Serving brunch food–think mini quiches, cinnamon monkey bread and coconut scones–with the most delicious sangria and champagne. Ah yes, and a chocolate fountain 🙂 Special thanks to my mom for cooking a large part of the food and to my amazing girls–you all blew me out of the water.

And this cake…I still can’t get over how beautiful it is! And gluten free to boot!

And before I even knew it, it was time to head out to my bachelorette party in Philadelphia!

As soon as we checked into the hotel, Sarah & Casey had a celebratory of champagne delivered and the festivities began! Even though they weren’t able to attend, they were certainly there in spirit 🙂

But the surprises didn’t stop there–Dane had arranged a limo to drive us around for the evening. I think I’ll keep him, what do you think?

Our first stop of the night was at Howl at the Moon, a fun piano bar!

The rest of the night was filled with dancing, laughing and playing bridal trivia. My friends really went above and beyond–I had the best time.

All too soon, it was time to wake up and part ways. The snow and ice had us cancelling our brunch plans and getting on the road much sooner than we would have liked. The weather also cancelled Dane’s flight back to Hawaii so I DID get to spend one more day with him, which I really loved.

All in all, this weekend was just another reminder of all the love I have in my life and, for that, I am so grateful.
