Happy Wedding Wednesday, everyone!
Today is all about envelope style and by envelope style, I mean the 1.7 million you will deal with when planning a wedding. From Save-The-Dates to thank you notes to the main event..the invitations!
A stationery connoisseur my entire life, I knew my wedding would be no different and I wanted everything as crisp and classic–not to mention orderly–as possible. The one little hiccup in all of this is that I knew our address was going to change AT LEAST 3 times in the midst of this whole process. Ooof. Once we got our new house, I went into full on planning mode, which including saving my hand for the next 7 months by getting a custom return address stamp.
NoteTrunk specializes in self-inking custom stamps and when I tell you that you could spend hours browsing their selections of fonts and styles–I’m telling you from personal experience. Without divulging our address, they is an up close shot of our top line. Since we aren’t married yet, leaving last names out was important to me.
I like the playful script and lowercase letters, but when designing, Lisa gave me so many options and made sure I loved the design before it went into production. I’m in the process of mailing out some delayed thank you notes from our bridal shower forever ago, so my envelopes will be traveling in style.
And speaking of envelopes, Dane and I are knee-deep in invitation designs trying to pick our top contenders. So far, we want classic and simple, but a bit of whimsical flair. Our inspirations are below, but we’d love your input!
Linking up for Wedding Wednesday!
Happy Hump Day, everyone 🙂
