Right now I’m watching Dane two-step with our dog in the living room (complete with dance counting and paw pointing) while the 6th episode of Season 2 of House of Cards is on. The entire 13-episode season came out Friday, which seemed like the perfect way to spend Valentine’s Day together–except for we wound up in the Pet ER with Miss New Judy. Yes, we call her that.
Thankfully we were able to still make our dinner reservation AND get our little baby treated. I think everyone won on Valentine’s Day, except for Zoey Barnes. (shameless House Of Cards plug)
The weather in Hawaii has been shit and so going to the pool or beach has been out of the question for quite some time. I can hear the collective sigh and head shake of all my friends in the NE.
This allows two things: 1. House projects to finally get done and 2. Couples to spend far too much time together in closed quarters. But it also makes for perfect weather in which to enjoy The Lion King production. So we gathered up our friends and enjoyed the AMAZING show. Seriously, if it comes to your town buy the most expensive ticket and sit in the front row. It’s worth every dime.
We also managed to get a backstage tour and peek behind the scenes thanks to some gracious friends of ours. How. Freaking. Cool.
And thanks be to President’s Day for a couple extra days together–complete with family photo day.
