Back at it again with the delicious food recipes. Or maybe you don’t think they’re delicious, but I surely do or else I wouldn’t be here telling you about them, right? Right. Moving on…
This recipe was all Dane. He saw it in Men’s Health as a way to retain the delicious factor and eliminate the large carb factor. Dane read that as: Oh, Kait can’t have gluten and this would be perfect. He’s a real gem, that one.
Bunless Southwest Burgers
(serves 2)
You Will Need:
4, 2oz burgers
4 eggs, fried
avocado
salsa
shredded cheese (we used a mixed blend that was DELICIOUS!)
1. Grill burgers to your desired temperature.
2. Fry all 4 eggs and set aside.
3. Warm a skillet and start with one burger. Layer 1 egg, avocado, cheese and salsa.
4. Add a second burger and repeat.
This dish was served with black rice and corn. Admittedly, I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be filling, but boy was I wrong.
