honeymoon apparel and obnoxious shorts

So Wedding Wednesday on a Thursday should be a new thing, right?

If you stopped by yesterday, sorry to disappoint! Yesterday marked our 4 months until the wedding mark and I’d be lying if it didn’t cue a little bit of panic. I’m a planner by nature so seeing a deadline creep closer and closer sends me into a bit of a tizzy. Thankfully, our invitations are out and our RSVPs are trickling in!

That being said, I also kicked off yesterday by buying two new honeymoon exclusive bikinis. I say honeymoon exclusive because bikinis around these parts are fair game any day of the week (OH HAYY HAWAII!) not because I’m suddenly indulging in raunchy swimsuits. I’m about 5 years late to the party, but Victoria’s Secret knocks it out of the park when it comes to beachwear. Maybe it’s just my body type, because I’ve heard mixed bag reviews, but I’d buy about 8 more bikinis if Dane wouldn’t look at the credit card statement and yell expletives.

I blogged about it before, but I actually have no idea where we’re going on our honeymoon. Dane picked out, planned out and booked our honeymoon entirely on his own and without any help from me. This was HUGE for my type-A, must-know-everything personality. But he did it and 3 months and 30 days from now I’ll be escaping with my new husband.

I’m actually in a horribly addicting shopping phase right now of buying everything
I want, when I want it. To hell with my budgeting plan–eek! It all began when we both decided to revamp our wardrobes (more on this at another time). This phase will
stop eventually, but right now I am warranting the purchasing of new
warm-weather clothes for our honeymoon. Seems fair?

 I should also note that I recently purchased these shorts and could not be more excited for them to arrive on my porch.

 I got these too, so if you should know one thing about me, I like to be as obnoxious as possible when it comes to colors and prints.
