The DMV, Craigslist & some wedding

Yesterday my day started bright and early at the DMV, which if there’s two things that don’t go hand in hand it’s morning and DMV. We had to sign over the title to our car, which was supposed to be easy, but turns out–it’s a huge pain in the ass. It’s all making total sense now. Rewind to a couple days ago, when life seemed too good to be true. I should have known then “That was TOO easy…“

You see, I sold our car on Craigslist. Yep. We decided to sell it, I posted it and within 2 days, it was gone. Gone meaning–looked at, financed and pending approval, off to take up room in someone else’s driveway. Don’t get me wrong, we loved the Jeep, but spending $80 at the pump every time it needed filled up (which at 16/miles to the gallon was about twice a week)–we needed a break.
Our break came in the form of a 2013 Acura ILX.

 So far? It’s a dream and we love it! It helps we’ve been getting 30 miles to the gallon.

This is item 34095349057 I’ve sold and all with great success–sometimes getting even more than our asking price. The takeaway here is that Dane is now convinced I could sell our neighbor’s house on Craigslist if I really wanted.

Does anyone else feel like this week is crawling by? And I don’t mean regular crawling, I mean slo-mo crawling. Get here faster, weekend.

And since it’s Wedding Wednesday and all, I’d be a pretty terrible bride not to include a little teaser of our wedding invites if I had them, right? Right. Don’t worry, I’ll post a full view once all the happy invitees have gotten a chance to see them just in case they’re reading 😉
