happy monday, everyone!
why does it always seem like the weekends fly by, but the weeks drag on? beats me, but i’d like to pull a switcheroo there. thoughts?
our weekend seemed to go by much quicker than usual, but I have high hopes for being positive about the week ahead!
how can you be upset when your blog is wearing a fancy new outfit?! you can’t. special thanks to my girl sarah for the upgrade, communikait is looking fancy & fresh–just in time for the holidays! this is how the whole thing went down–I placed my order on thursday and i was ready to party by friday afternoon. she’s quick, affordable and incredible when it comes to answering questions and meeting all your needs. plus, she’s hysterical, so holla ‘atcha girl!
friday night i had a surprise datenight set up for us….and then dane didn’t get home from work until 11pm, so that kind of sucked the fun right out of our evening. love you, army.
instead, I got completely sucked into “Killing Kennedy” on National geographic. if you ever have the opportunity, watch it! So good!
the rest of our weekend was spent finishing our christmas decorating (yep, we started two weeks ago–judge me) and shopping. we are participating in no spend november, so everything we bought was gifts for other people, which i love!
we also checked out a surf competition on the north shore, addressed & stamped our christmas cards, watched the blind side & snuck in some workouts!
and just to counteract those workouts, I practiced my pie baking for thanksgiving. thankfully, i have two very willing taste testers 😉
