How was your weekend?
I always feel like the weeks drag on and the weekends are over before I ever feel like they get started. Ya still with me?
First and foremost, I missed posting on Friday about National Love Your Pet Day, which has Judy in a real huff. Sorry, sweet girl, mama has been a crazy nut bag with no time for blogging! The real story is that #JudyHanson gets over the top loving each and every day. I can’t imagine my life without her cold nose and wagging tail.
Our weekend began with a new crockpot recipe for shredded buffalo chicken. I took absolutely no photos, because the recipe is as follows:
4 chicken breasts
1 packet of ranch seasoning
1 cup of Frank’s red hot
1. Put it all in your crockpot on low for 6 hours.
2. Shred and eat.
It was really easy and delicious, plus we used leftover shredded chicken on a buffalo chicken pizza. Hot diggity damn!
Today also marks 6 months since our wedding–crazy! There is no other person I would rather walk through life with than you, Dane. I love you!
The rest of our weekend was spent relaxing together and setting up my new external hard drive.
Links I love…
Chelsea’s take on living in the now really resonated with me. She referenced saving the “good wine” for later, but when is “later”? I loved it, because I’m incredibly guilty of this. None of us are promised tomorrow, so indulge in the NOW.
It’s not even remotely close to snowing in Hawaii, but these Oreo Snowmen from Sarah are ADORABLE! These are the times I wish I had kids to do these fun little food crafts with 🙂
Mallory’s post about BODYPUMP makes me wish so badly I could find one here in Hawaii! Crossing my fingers I can join a better gym at our next duty station!
