Monday Mashup

Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent my weekend surrounded by some of the most amazing and uplifting women a girl could ask for and what’s not to love about that?! Sometimes a girls weekend is just good for the soul.

Friday afternoon I hung out with Jen and her adorable kids, followed by a trip to the farmer’s market and a new recipe for brussel sprouts. If you haven’t been following along on Instagram (come on, get with the program!), they’re my latest obsession and I could probably eat them for every meal. Minus the smell when you first open the bag—no thanks.

Saturday was filled to the absolute brim. I met up with my friends Caitlin and Amber and help them out with a styled shoot…hopefully more on that later! In the meantime, you can check out their Instagram feeds for some of the most beautifully artistry I’ve ever seen in the world of photography. I know little to nothing about the craft myself, so being in the presence of such talent was a real gift!

Sunday was spent relaxing and preparing for the launch of my friend’s very first Kickstarter! More on that coming later this week, but you should probably go check out Baseball Lacelets 🙂

For all my military ladies, what are your thoughts on this dress? I absolutely love it, it gets rave reviews, but I’m pretty nervous to order a custom dress off the internet that I’ll never get to try on. Plus, it’s kind of scandalous for a ball, no? I’d LOVE your feedback!
