My Favorite Twitter Accounts

I love all platforms of social media, but there is something about Twitter and Instagram that really drive things home for me. I really love Twitter when it comes to hot topics — like Josh Duggar or sporting events — because you can quickly fall into a dark internet hole of crazy. Sometimes it’s enlightening and sometimes it’s just downright scary and confusing.

I’ll be the first to admit that I sometimes enjoy reading the crazy, because rest assured, there’s a ton of it.

Aside from all my fabulous blogger friends on Twitter, I thought I’d share some of my favorite accounts and why.

First up, Chrissy Teigen. Not only is she my (smoking hot) girl crush, she cooks, has sass and is more than just a pretty face. I like that in a person, because I can’t have a good conversation about bone broth if all you’re offering me is perfect cheekbones, ya feel me?

Chrissy feels the same way about me.

 Other “celebrity” accounts I enjoy are: Stephen Colbert, People Magazine (I’m shamelessly addicted to celeb gossip), Lena Dunham & Anna Kendrick

If super models and celebrities really aren’t your thing, then let me point you in the direction of Emily Thomas. A public relations professional, Emily is all things inspirational and the perfect place to go when you need a pick-me-up.

Speaking of pick-me-ups, David Rhoads is the master. I’ve never seen a tweet of his that I didn’t favorite or retweet immediately.

Next up: traveling. Whenever I get a pang of wanderlust while I’m strapped to my desk, I pull up Lonely Planet‘s account. Just for example’s sake, I can guarantee you’ve never considered a trip to the Albanian Riviera, but now that you’ve seen this photo, you’re all “Hmm…perhaps that isn’t a bad idea!”
