Happy Monday, party people!
Watching: We are sort of in a television rut. That being said, I have a confession to make: It is my life goal to watch every Lifetime movie ever made. I am committed to this and work daily to reach my goal by turning on Netflix and going straight for the “Drama” category. That being said — I NEED NETFLIX RECOMMENDATIONS! What is your favorite series?
Eating: Friends, I made this Kentucky Butter Cake two weeks ago for a potluck and YOU MUST ALL GO MAKE IT IMMEDIATELY. Special thanks to Mallory for the suggestion — it was a huge hit!

Reading: “What Alice Forgot” by: Liane Moriarty and “God is Able” by Priscilla Shirer. I am not usually one to read two books at once, but honestly, I could not wait to dive into either one. I’m only a couple chapters into “What Alice Forgot” and the formatting is a bit wonky, but I have high hopes, because I love the author! “God is Able” was recommended to me by a dear friend and I have to admit — it makes me think, laugh, feel nostalgic and dream big. I love it and I’m not even finished, yet!
Making: This past weekend, our neighbors decided to host us for dinner and requested a sweet potato dish. I was having trouble narrowing down what I wanted to make, so I decided upon roasted sweet potatoes with apples, as well as my favorite Thanksgiving dish, sweet potato casserole. On a side note, I accidentally bought Japanese sweet potatoes at the store instead of the traditional ones. If you were wondering — they were delish! I also made Challah and while it wasn’t amazing, I have ideas on how to improve for next time.
Thinking: I saw this floating around the internet and it’s so true.
What has everyone else been up to?
