Last weekend, Dane and I checked out a hike that we have had our eyes on for a little while now — the Pali Ridgeline! The rain had taken a short break here on O’ahu long enough for us to pack up ourselves and the dog and head out! The Pali Ridgeline is located on the windward side of the island so it took us about 45 minutes to get there. Honestly, I love the beautiful scenery driving over there, so the extra time in the car doesn’t bother me at all. Today I’m sharing all about our time at the Pali Lookout + Pali Ridgeline!
When we arrived, we were a little bit bummed to see that the ridgeline itself had been roped off due to all the recent storming. Falling rocks, wet dirt — NO THANKS! Thankfully, we were still able to checkout the Pali Lookout point and take in some of the amazing sights. Readers afraid of heights — take caution!
Judy was pretty pissed about the hiking situation, as you can see. |
She cheered up pretty quickly when she realized she could survey her entire kingdom from up here 😉 |
OUT OF THE WAY DAD! I NEED TO SEE MY KINGDOM! |
Literally hanging off the edge. Sorry, Mom! |
The storms mixed with higher elevations made it a bit chilly, so I was happy to have brought my Albion Fit Hoodie. Lightweight and super soft, my favorite part of the hoodie is the holes for my thumbs!
It’s very obvious Judy knows how to work the camera! |
