How To Make Your House Look Like A Pottery Barn Catalog

Beauty · November 23, 2015 · 11 Comments

Happy Monday!
It’s definitely happy for us, because we’ve been enjoying time in Pennsylvania with friends and family. One of the many reasons I love coming home is that my mom is the ultimate hostess. I mean seriously, she can throw down like none other. After our wedding reception, she hosted a brunch the next morning for over 100 people at her house where SHE HAD COOKED AND DECORATED. So yeah, the woman is amazing.
In any case, when she told me she was hosting a fall food brunch, I knew I wanted to capture it for the blog. Not only does it always look like you’re walking into a Pottery Barn catalog (Dane’s words), her food makes my mouth water.
Without further ado…
My dad is so proud of this table! He made it as a gift for my mom last year.
And honestly…look how cute my parents are!
They have an amazing outdoor kitchen setup with heating that makes cooking outside even in winter months an awesome time!
Homemade Chex Mix — recipe available in MY BOOK
Smoked gluten free Mac & Cheese — so damn good!
Homemade Bacon Jam — still trying to weasel the recipe out of her for this one! It’s like heaven! If I can, I want to give it as Christmas gifts this year 🙂
Parmesan cheese waffles — yes, it’s a thing!
We had such a wonderful “Thanksgiving Round 1” and are enjoying every single moment of being at home.
How was your weekend?
