5 Minute Christmas Card Display

Life, Lifestyle · December 7, 2015 · 2 Comments

Happy Monday, everyone! I spent my entire weekend prepping for the holidays and I have to admit — I loved every second of it. Crafting, wrapping, baking and shopping — all my love language! Last week when I posted a DIY Pallet Christmas Card Holder, so many of you loved the idea, but didn’t have time to devote to finding a pallet, sanding, spray painting, etc. I totally get it! This time of year is a little bit crazy. In an effort to help everyone this holiday season, I’m here today with a 5 minute Christmas card display that will have all your guests ohhh-ing and ahh-ing, while simultaneously displaying all your festive holiday cards.

5 Minute Christmas Card Display

You Will Need:
3 rolls of Scotch® Expressions Tape
1 piece of Scotch® Create Double-Sided Tape
1 fancy bow
They have some seriously cool prints and with a perfect combination of versatility, function & fun, Scotch® Expressions Tapes turn everyday projects into simply inspired creations. In that same aisle, I found my Scotch® Create Double-Sided Tape. From masking tape to spray adhesives and everything in between, it seems that no matter the task, there’s a Scotch® Brand product to match!

The first step is to find an area in your house that has a blank wall and room to get a little crafty! I chose my hallway, because there was a decent amount of blank space and it gets a lot of traffic — I want people to see my masterpiece 🙂

1. Take your Scotch® Expressions Tape and create the basic outline of a tree. I chose green, but feel free to get creative!
2. Once you have created the full tree outline, grab your second color to create the base of the tree. I loved the black and white stripe print 🙂
3. The final touch is your star! I chose a fun bow from the wrapping section and adhered it to the top of my tree using Scotch® Create Double-Sided Tape.
4. I picked up a third roll of Scotch® Expressions Tape in a fun iridescent print to affix my card “ornaments” to my tree as they arrived in the mail.
How do you hang your Christmas cards?
