Whew!
It has been an absolute whirlwind in our lives lately. From getting Bill, to our trip home, readjusting once we got back and prepping for the holidays..I’ve barely had time to decompress, which probably explains my raging sinus infection.
In any case, it’s been way too long since I shared what’s been going on, so here I am today π
We celebrated Judy’s second birthday in mid-November right before our trip. I can’t believe my baby girl is two!
Despite what her face says, she loved her PAWTY! |
We had an AMAZING trip back to PA. I mean, it was seriously good. Trips home always remind us of all the wonderful things we love about where we grew up and seeing the people we love. It’s always hard to leave, but we know that we will be back one day π
I finally got to take Dane up to Penn State to show him all the places I |
I spent so many nights around this table that my dad built for my mom enjoying cocktails and talking about life. Parents are good for the soul!
My mom made an absolutely delicious butternut squash and sweet potato soup..Recipe coming soon!
Dane got to spend some quality time with my grandma π
Bill got a new pair of Christmas pajamas! He’s all ready for Santa Paws now π
My sister and I went to a beauty event with my mom. More on that here.
Dane’s parents crafted this adorable Christmas tree for us, complete with everyone’s name on packages beneath it! We have it displayed on our bar and I love the thoughtfulness behind it.
My family on Thanksgiving Day!
The Hanson kids hanging out watching me making a Christmas card holder in the yard!
As you can see, I’ve been all over the place. I’m really anxious to settle down in the next couple weeks and re-gain some organization in my life…though, with two Labs who keep me on my toes, I’m not quite sure that is possible π
What have you been up to?
