Sometimes I feel like Friday is the beginning of a fresh slate. The fresh slate of a weekend, that is. Something about waking up, realizing two glorious says of sleeping in are upon me and suddenly I feel like I can take on the world. Anyone else?

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s share what I loved this week, shall we?
For starters, if you need a recipe to test out for the weekend, I have you covered with this gluten free banana bread. I promise it’s not dry or crumbly and it pairs nice with coffee..preferably before you even get out of bed. #roomservice
I could go on and on about social media, so this piece on authenticity stood out to me. If you’re anything like me, I highly recommend checking it out. And on the subject of social media, this post regarding a social media detox is so perfect. We all need one.
Speaking of detoxing, I did one in the spending department and shared everything here. If you missed how I saved $1700 in January, check it out!
Who else is a dog lover? If you are, I’m sure you’ve read or heard about the couple who cloned their dog. Shockingly, I have mixed feelings on the topic. When we lost our first Lab, Maddie, I laid in bed for two weeks crying and if you think I’m joking you should probably just leave now. In that moment, I probably would have done anything to bring her back, but the reality is that you can’t. Even these clone dogs — not their original dog. Do they look an awful lot alike? Yes. But I just…I don’t know…thoughts on this?
Speaking of dogs, Judy & Bill put together a few of their favorite things that they are hoping for from their Valentines. Full disclosure: They already own all these things and THEY ROCK, so if you’re in the market for some new doggy accoutrement — you’re welcome!
And because this weekend is Valentine’s Day, these 60 tiny love stories will totally melt your heart. I think I started getting weepy before I even finished the first tiny paragraph, but doggone it, I read them all!
Happy Weekend, everyone!
