Your Dog Questions: Answered

Obviously I love my dogs a lot (I’m clearly biased), but I had no idea how many of you loved Judy & Bill as much as I do! They are really fun dogs with two very different personalities, so it’s fun watching them interact. I’ve always had a dog, even growing up, so I can, quite literally, not picture life without them!

Now, let’s get down to the questions!

1. How do you tell Judy and Bill apart now that Bill is getting bigger?

For me, it’s easy, because in person Bill is much smaller. He will eventually be Judy’s size, but for now it’s pretty simple. In pictures, Bill has bigger ears and a small white patch on his chest.

2. Would you ever breed dogs?

Whew, this is a tough one. Initially, we thought about it, but breeding dogs is a serious commitment of time and resources. Not to mention, there are tons of dogs here in Hawaii that need homes. I didn’t want to be part of the growing problem, so we ultimately decided that we wouldn’t — at least not here. Reputable breeding is something that is important to both Dane and me, so unless we are able to really be serious about it and do it correctly, we will not.
