A Shore Thing

First off, I have to say thank you to everyone who commented and reached out after I posted about our big life move. WE ARE SO DANG EXCITED and it’s refreshing to hear so many of you say that you’re excited and happy, too. Life can sometimes be complicated, so when something seems so right — you just have to do it.

So now let’s get down to the right now.

I know what you’re thinking — Kait, you live in Hawaii, it’s the ocean, not the shore. But…not so fast! Dane and I are actually on the mainland for awhile before he starts his new gig back in Hawaii and part of that is visiting our parents. We headed down to Ocean City, Maryland with my parents over the weekend for a little R&R. It was refreshing to see a different ocean, eat junk food from the boardwalk and spend time together. Some of our favorite spots include Thrasher’s (french fries), Dumser’s Dairyland (ice cream), Kohr Bros (more ice cream), The Fractured Prune (create-your-own donuts) and Sambo’s in Dover, DE for crabcakes on the way home!

In the next couple of weeks, I’ll be traveling a good bit and am excited to soak up all my favorite parts (and people) of the mainland. Be sure to follow along on Instagram to keep up!
