So one might thing that after traveling all the way from Hawaii to Pennsylvania, we would try to relax a little bit, but that’s pretty much the last thing we’ve been doing. Since we got to PA, we’ve gone to Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, D.C. and tomorrow we are flying to California. Go-go-go…
But before we get on a plane for L.A., I wanted to recap our whirlwind weekend. On Saturday, my parents hosted a little welcome home party for Dane and I and it was so nice to see family members and friends that we don’t get to visit with regularly. We also ate A TON of food, but that’s what celebrating is all about, right? Right.

Sunday we woke up super early to surprise my best friend and college roommate at her spin class in D.C. She recently became an instructor, so I knew showing up to one of her classes was the best way to let her know we were in town. Not only did she cry (aww!), her class majorly kicked our asses. It. Was. Awesome. For any D.C.-ers–RevolveDC in Arlington is the bomb.
After her class, we hung out at the pool for a little while and just enjoyed laughing and chatting like the old days! She had to work Monday and we needed to get back to PA, but before we left, we headed to Ted’s Bulletin for some of the most amazing food EVER. Seriously, alcoholic milkshakes and homemade pop tarts? Sign me the hell up.
