Looking for an easy dog treat recipe? These 2-ingredient frozen dog treats will make both owners and pets happy!
Fall is upon us and nothing says fall quite like pumpkins, am I right? If you’re me, you eat pumpkin all year long and people look at you like you’re half-insane. Maybe I am – who knows. But one thing I know for sure is that dogs go bananas for pumpkin just like I do, so pumpkin dog treats are a no-brainer. And the real added benefit is that its good for them 🙂 So today I’m sharing a super easy 2-ingredient recipe for pumpkin and yogurt dog treats that are perfect for pups to cool down in the summer or all year long if you live in a warm climate! Homemade dog treats are one of my favorite ways to save money (be sure to check out my DIY Frosty Paws) and Judy + Bill don’t mind being taste testers. They give these homemade pumpkin dog treats two paws up! Let’s get started…
2-Ingredient Frozen Pumpkin + Yogurt Dog Treats
You Will Need:
1 cup pure pumpkin puree
*make sure it’s not the pumpkin pie filling!
1 cup plain yogurt (Greek is okay!)

1. Mix pumpkin and yogurt together in a bowl.
2. Portion evenly into jumbo ice cube trays.
3. Freeze for 24 hours.
4. Pop out of the silicone mold and put into a freezer bag, or if you have lots of freezer space, leave them in the tray!
I will warn all my fellow dog owners that they are slightly messy, so they are best served outdoors!
I treated my parent’s Lab, Millie, to them before I came back to Hawaii and she gives them two paws up..and so do the Hanson Labs 🙂
