5 On Friday

It’s Friday! WE MADE IT!

I’m going to come right out and say it – I never gave Fridays the true love and praise they’ve always deserved growing up….But come here, you sweet angel, you.

This week has been a BEAR and I’m not talking the cute and cuddly kind you sometimes see floating around on Facebook videos. I’m talking sassy students, editing projects and some writing work that somehow slipped by the wayside that mid-week made me go..OH SHIT I HAVE DEADLINES. So we here we are on Friday and I’m already planning out my first cocktail of choice once the clock strikes 5PM. Dane and I are planning a sunset picnic, so I’m thinking a Moscato, but I’ll be honest…I don’t plan on being picky! #givemeoneofeverything

So, let’s get down to the details, shall we?

1.First, I don’t think I ever touched on this, but when I had my little marathon mishap, SO MANY people contacted me (probably 10 or more) and asked if maybe I was pregnant. Just in case anyone else was wondering if that may have been the case – I’m not! Though I definitely chuckled to myself at the amount of people who all thought I may have been keeping something from you guys 😉

2. Yesterday I stumbled upon the recipe for these chocolate frosted brownies and I plan on making a gluten and dairy free version this weekend. I might even eat the whole pan myself! By might I mean definitely..

3.  Also while browsing yesterday, I noticed I was getting a bit of referral traffic from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Hmmm….So I popped over to their website to see that not one, but TWO of my photos were featured front and center on their web page! I did a little happy dance for sure! 4. I can’t stop thinking about this tropical frock from VICI. Does anyone else following Living With Landyn? She’s constantly raving about the company VICI, but until now the reasoning has kind of been lost on me. Until now…their spring collection is what resort-wear dreams are made of! Hello, I love you, come to mama!

5. Has anyone else been counting down to see the movie, A Dog’s Purpose? Well, I WAS…Except I’m sure by now most of you have seen the disturbing Facebook video floating around where you can see a visibly terrified German Shepard being forced to film. It breaks my heart. I need to read more into the situation, but until I get some answers – that movie won’t be getting my money.
