Nothing is more refreshing in the summer than icy lemonade, am I right? But I’m taking this classic and turning things up a notch with my Spiked Hibiscus Lemonade.
Considering the abundance of lemons and limes in our yard, I wanted to create a drink I wouldn’t mind putting on repeat all summer long – that meant nothing too tart, too sweet or too strong. I love how this drink came together and everyone who tasted agrees – it’s a winner! This infusion of crisp citrus and fruity hibiscus is quickly going to be your new go-to cocktail of the summer…flower garnish optional, of course 😉
Spiked Hibiscus Lemonade
For one drink, you will need:
1 tumbler full of crushed ice
2 shots lemon vodka
3 shots fresh lemonade
2 teaspoons Wild Hibiscus Flowers Rose Syrup
splash tonic water
Optional: lemon and lime wedges to garnish, swizzle stick
In a shaker, add lemon vodka, lemonade and Wild Hisbus Flowers Rose Syrup. Shake well. Pour over crushed ice. Splash in tonic water for fizz. Garnish and serve.
Cheers to summer!
