Okay so if you don’t know by now I’m a huge history nerd. And honestly – I have no shame about it! When I met Dane and realized he shared my interest in history, museums and wars, in particular – I knew we were a match made in heaven…HA! Given this love, it seems obvious that we both enjoy watching movies with historical ties, ones that are based off true events and war epics. Sometimes when I post on my Instagram stories what movies we are watching people are a little surprised by our choices, but here I am telling you all on the world wide web…I would rather watch a movie about something in history than a comedy or romantic feature film any day of the week.
Anyway, I figured it was time I share my top ten, right? Right!

As I was making this list, I realized that it’s really freaking hard to narrow down my favorites! In fact, this list could have probably been my top 20 favorites and I would still have some I missed.
