Today is my final guide of the season – a gift guide for the traveler! I’m sharing all the things I love the most when I’m taking trains, planes and automobiles to my next destination. I happen to own all of the products on this list, so I can vouch that they are worth the spend and any traveler in your life is sure to appreciate the thoughtful gesture. Now, let’s get started!
Gift Guide For The Traveler
Genius Pack Hard Side Carry-On – I think I made my love for Genius Pack apparent in this post, but just in case – YOU NEED ONE IN YOUR LIFE. I am a chronic over packer and I managed to fit everything I needed (and probably more) into this 21 inch roller carry on. It has amazing space for organizing, comes with a durable exterior and there’s even a packing list printed on the inside so you don’t forget anything. If there’s one thing any traveler needs on this list – it’s this.
LOST IN Travel Guides – For less than $15, share a love of cities around the world with your favorite jetsetter! I’ll be honest – these are perfect reading material for long flights or never-ending train rides. They share all the details you wouldn’t normally get in a guide like the sounds, flavors and unique smells you might discover!
Airplane Cookie Cutter – Can’t travel as much as you want? Give the gift of an airplane cookie cutter and perhaps put it to use by gifting the cutter alongside a batch of iced sugar cookies. Maybe I’m just trying to manifest this as what I want to receive…LOL!
Traveling Toothpaste Trio – Freshen breath and prevent cavities with this fun trio of toothpaste from Marvis. I snatched this trio up the last time I was in Urban Outfitters and I love, love, love it! It’s a fun little treat when we travel since I usually use a bigger tube when we are at home.
Nikon DSLR – I love my Nikon, forever and ever amen. This is truly an investment gift, but I hated to leave it off since it’s something I rely so heavily on when I travel! If you plan on gifting this to someone, maybe let them pick out the body and model they love first 🙂
21 oz. Collapsable Water Bottle – These were a lifesaver for Dane while hiking the Na’Pali Coast. I can’t say enough about how much we love them for hiking, camping and exploring. They’re great because they collapse flat to the size of a palm-sized disc. For less than $20, you can’t beat it!
Go Pro Hero 5 + Go Pro Accessories Bundle – Another major investment piece, but worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. My only regret with our Hero 5 is that we didn’t purchase it sooner. The camera itself is amazing, but to truly take advantage of all it can do, you need some accessories. We tested out this majorly affordable accessories bundle (seriously – it’s $200+ worth of accessories for $20!) and it works amazingly well. I was so impressed with not only the quality for the price, but how much you got for such a steal. Snatch it up for sure if you’re gifting a Go Pro this year!
Mavic Pro Drone – It took me a long time until I wanted to invest in a drone. I did the research, the test flies and all the reading before we pulled the trigger on a DJI Mavic Pro. It’s safe to say I’ve never been more excited for pictures in my life, but each and every time it takes off I say a little prayer. This is the perfect gift for the photo techy in your life! Scoop it up while it’s on sale here.
Cord Keeper – This little ditty is a LIFESAVER for me. As you can see, I travel with quite a few gadgets, so making sure they’re not all a tangled mess when I arrive is crucial! Keep all your cords together and neat with this handy cord keeper.
Silk Sleep Mask – I have to admit, sleeping on planes is not my specialty. In fact – it rarely happens these days, but I’m convinced that if I had this luxurious sleep mask it might happen. I love the fact that it’s age defying…disturbances in your sleep cause fine lines and wrinkles…who knew!
Coordinates Bracelet – Never lose track of the most important places in your life. I think one of these Coordinates Collections bracelets are the perfect gift to commemorate a special trip or location. Last year, I gifted Dane cufflinks with the coordinates of the church where we got married and it was a major hit!
Noise Canceling Headphones – Raise your hand if you’ve been on a plane or train with noisy passengers. Enough said!
Mobile Card Reader – On the go and want to look at the photos from your big camera, but no time to power up your laptop? Have no fear, this mobile card reader is here!
For all my fellow travel fiends – what did I miss? What is your go-to travel gift?
