A Weekend Update

Happy weekend, everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing break with the people you love most. You guys – the sun came out today here on Oahu and I would SING. Seriously. I know it probably sounds really silly, but for an island whose activities revolve around nice weather, it’s a total buzzkill when it does nothing but rain nonstop. I mean, I think the last time I saw the sun was 2017, so this is major! It didn’t make an appearance until later in the day, but that was enough for me! I WILL TAKE IT! Dane and I decided to grab the drone and our cameras and head out to Waikiki for some sunset photos and man – I’m so glad we did. All that rain made for a seriously delicious sunset. See what I mean? Totally dreamy! Friday night, Dane and I had the opportunity to join Heather + Kat (and their respective husbands!) at the Passport to Luxury event at Ala Moana. Basically, it was an exclusive shopping event sponsored by Modern Luxury Hawaii where the luxury boutiques at the mall open up their doors for some shopping fun and have discounts, but also partner with local restaurants and bars to offer food and cocktails. We were invited by the beautiful ladies at Kate Spade and it was a great evening full of food, drinks and laughter. I’m still dreaming about the yummy noodles from Tory Burch + and delicious cucumber cocktail from Tesla. So freaking good, even if I decided to wear shoes that created quarter sized blisters on all my toes. #goodtimes

And finally – is anyone else mildly obsessed with treating their pups? I stumbled across this adorable line of dog toys and I simply can’t get enough! I mean – margaritas! guacamole! fish tacos! Seriously?! The cuteness is overwhelming. Obviously, the Hanson Labs need some margaritas and guacamole, but I might just snag one of each because hello – so dang adorable!
