Loving Lately

Life, Lifestyle · March 10, 2018 · Leave a Comment

Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you’re having a relaxing weekend and enjoying good weather (sending warm thoughts to my friends on the East coast) and time with the people you love most. I’ve been enjoying putting together these weekly Loving Lately as a wrap up to all the goodies I’ve found most recently in stores and online or recommendations from friends. I’m extra excited about some of my finds this week, because they involve my favorite subject…FOOD! There are also two fun pairs of shoes and a swimsuit I’m shocked I love as much as I do, so I hope you enjoy this week’s edition of loving lately!
Loving Lately - Native Shoes - Siete Foods - Target Sandals - American Eagle Swim - Communikait by Kait Hanson

Salt – My friend Heather recommended this salt to me, as she says it’s the only thing she swears by for her homemade guacamole. Oh my stars – she could not have been more accurate in a food pick! I have used it in guac, per her recommendation, as well as on salmon, popcorn and sweet potatoes. It’s so dang delicious and comes in a variety of different flavors if garlic isn’t your thing!

Slip-On Sneakers – I have loved the look of these made-originally-for-kids shoes since they started gaining popularity a couple summers ago. I first spotted them on a family vacationing here in Waikiki and thought – they remind me of Crocs (my guilty pleasure shoe) – I bet they would be so cute for summertime! I had honestly kind of forgotten about them until I saw Erica’s post breaking down why they are the essential shoe for spring and summer for her sweet girls. It’s a good read if you’re a mom and seeking some shoe guidance! In any case, I snagged an all white pair and I think they’ll be perfect for our travels! They get nothing but rave reviews and I love that I can throw them in my washing machine to get that crisp white back. Stay tuned – they should be here next week 🙂

Sandals – I originally saw these slip ons in black at the store and thought – they’re really cute, but I wish they came in more of a cognac color. I was browsing online one day, clicked them on a whim and realized they did have the color I was searching for, just not at my store. For the price, I think they are the perfect summer slide for the beach, pool or a casual cocktail hour with your girlfriends.

Kiwi Swimsuit – Top + Bottom – I’ve blogged about this suit before, but since getting it and wearing it out – it’s better than I imagined and I can’t, for the life of me, understand why the ratings online aren’t 5 full stars. The bottoms are good coverage and the top is supportive and sporty while still looking cute. I will say that you need to size up in this beauty, but I’m so happy I snagged it! Every time I wear it people ask about it and are shocked to know I picked it up this season!

Lime Tortilla Chips – I have never met a tortilla chip I didn’t like, so I was eager to try these grain-free chips that everyone on the internet seems to be raving about! You guys – the hype is real. I don’t know if I can ever look back from these yummy treats and Dane agrees. I love the lime and he loves the nacho (a tangy/spicy Dorito flavor) and they are AMAZING for guac and salsa nights. I can put away a single bag myself, so we end up having to ration them out at this house LOL! Siete also makes delicious coconut flour tortillas that are probably the best I’ve ever had, which says a lot considering the amount of tortillas I’ve consumed in my lifetime.

What are you loving lately?
