While I love a good hotel gym, sometimes we are visiting places that don’t have one or staying at a rental property that is normally someone’s house so…no gym! Typically Dane and I stay pretty active even while on trips, so if we’re not walking everywhere, we might go for a run or jog around town. That said – I still like to get in a good burn that makes me feel like I’m really working those muscles even if I don’t have time for a true sweat sesh in a gym lifting or using machines. I am just a happier person when I workout. Anyone else feel the same way? I figured since some of you might feel the same way and probably have summer trips on the horizon, I would share my favorite hotel room workouts under 10 minutes. Yep – 10 minutes or less! You’re on vacation, after all! None of these require anything fancy and most use body weight for resistance, so throw on your sneakers and let’s get down to business!
7 Hotel Room Workouts Under 10 Minutes
8 Minute Full Body Cardio – Do not do this workout if you don’t want to sweat. I’ve never had a workout kick my ass like this one from Ashley. You’ll be jumping, squatting and moving around a bit, so get on it!
Best Ab Workout For Diastasis Recti – It’s 8 minutes and honestly – I’ve never had diastasis recti and it burns so good!
7 Minute Body Weight Workout – I have no idea how Kelly talks through this, because I am panting like an animal after just the second exercise. It’s definitely effective and if I don’t have a ton of time it’s a go-to for me at home too 🙂 Everyone has 7 minutes!
8 Minutes Booty Blast – Oh my word – no equipment required and it will feel so good when you are done! I typically combine this with a good ab workout 🙂
Flat Belly Barre Workout – My friend Sarah sent me this one and I was skeptical at first, but holy mackeral – I was panting like a dang dog afterward and now I pride myself on being able to do the whole thing start to finish. It works your core and legs and you will feel like you just blasted some serious fat after! Plus – BEST PART…it’s only 10 minutes!
Tank Top Arms – Okay so in the video it tell you to grab weights, but when I’m traveling, I don’t have my go-to weights on me (seriously they are so good if you have been searching for some that are good for men and women!) , so I use the next best thing…the free water bottles they always give you at check-in! They work the exact same and this one will have your arms screaming, I promise.
10 Minute Abs – Rebecca Louise makes me LOL, so I always really like her videos. This 10 minute ab workout blasts your obliques, so I’m just giving you a heads up on that!
Now that I’ve told you all my favorites, did I miss any that you swear by? I love plugging into YouTube videos, because you can always see what people who have tried it before say (people really don’t hold back over there, LOL!) and as long as you have wifi – you’re good to go!
