Unless you’ve been under a rock for the past week or so, you know that Sephora is hosting their Beauty Insider sale. Honestly, I was pretty excited given my newfound appreciation of the store. You can easily sign up to be a Beauty Insider on their site, or if you’re already one – just sign in – and be sure to enter code “YAYINSIDER” to get 10% off at checkout. Now – I’m by no means a beauty expert, but after getting such good service the last time I was in the store, I wanted to stock up on a few items that were recommended to me that I didn’t pick up initially. Plus, a few little treats to try out on this mane of mine. So, today I’m sharing what is en route to my house! Let’s dive in…
What I Ordered From The Sephora Sale
Becca Sunlit Bronzer – I loved how this bronzer looked when the makeup artist used it on me in store. I had an old bronzer in my makeup bag that I was like “Oh, I’ll just use that one”. After using it a few times with my new Tarte products, I don’t love it, so I picked up this one! The color I got is ‘Bondi’.
Makeup Forever Highlighter – I’ll be honest – I didn’t know how important a highlighter could be until I saw it used on my own face. As described to me… “It’s the difference between a beautiful face and VA VA VOOM.” #sold – I ordered in ‘2 Golden’.
Sugar Lemon Body Lotion – I remember the first time I smelled this lotion while I was visiting some friends from college. I was immediately hooked by how fresh it smelled that I knew I needed to get my hands on some. I typically never buy it for myself and reserve it for birthday + Christmas lists, so this was a #treatyourself find!
Beach Walk Rollerball – I have loved this scent since I discovered it last summer, but could not justify the price for the full bottle. I love the rollerball, because not only can I swipe it on easily from my purse, but I can travel with it without worrying about cracking a bottle of perfume. It smells like everything you love about summer – salt air, sunscreen and the ocean…oh it’s so good! My words don’t do it justice, LOL
Living Proof Volume Blast – This product is recommended all over beauty blogs, so there’s got to be something good about it, right? It’s good for straight or wavy hair and creates instant volume and fullness on dry hair. I can’t wait to try it!
IGK Dry Shampoo – I saw the display of this product when I was in the store, but didn’t get to test it out (I was too busy getting makeup tips!), but the packaging totally sucked me in. It’s more than I would normally spend on dry shampoo, but I love that it’s vegan and cruelty free. Fingers crossed I like how it works on 5+ day old hair LOL!
Like I said – I’m not a beauty expert and I don’t pretend to be (at all!), but I’m super excited for this package to show up on my porch. Do you shop at Sephora? Did you shop the sale?
