Maybe you’re like me and didn’t realize how cool Alaska really was, or your spouse keeps saying “OMG! ALASKA!” while you’re more apt for a sunny locale or maybe you’re like so many I’ve talked to (myself included prior to this vacation) and didn’t give cruises the credit they deserve in terms of vacations. Wherever you fall on the scale, I cannot emphasize enough how amazing our cruise to Alaska was aboard Holland America. We were in total awe of the natural beauty of Alaska, her National Parks and all the animals we encountered along the way. I don’t have any clear photos of them, but we managed to see quite a few sea otters during our trip and oh boy – they are so cute!
