Is it me or is everyone getting married? I mean, lots of people are getting married all of the time, but for me personally, I’ve never gotten so many wedding announcements in my life as I have this year. I’m positively elated for my friends and secretly elated for the opportunity to snag a few fun dresses to wear! I’m of the opinion that you can have a couple go-to dresses in your closet and rotate those babies in and out for different events. I don’t have the budget to buy something new for each event, so having a few quality pieces that I can count on tucked away is key. Since I’ve been searching out some good dresses for myself, I figured I would share my findings here in case anyone else has been on the hunt. All of the dresses I’m sharing are less than $100 and match perfectly with my favorite go-to heels (which are only $30!) and comes in 4 great colors for events. Though, truth be told I wear them with jeans too! So let’s jump right in, because I’m sharing all my favorite wedding guest dresses (plus a few jumpsuits!) that are under $100 and classic enough to be re-worn over and over!
Wedding Guest Dresses Under $100
When I’m prepping for a wedding, I always keep two things in mind: 1. Don’t take away from the bride. Keep your boobs in and crotch covered. That might sound crass, but to me this isn’t the time for your best sequined ensemble with the slit-up-to-there. 2. Make sure you can re-wear that sucker to something else. Green Off-The-Shoulder | Blue Lace Midi | Asymmetrical Ruffle Shift | Lace Sheath Dress | Floral Lace Shift
High Neck Swing Dress | Blue Laci Midi Dress | Floor Length Black Gown | Cross Neck Red Gown | Cut-Out Peplum Dress | Flutter Sleeve Dress
Ruffled Shoulder Dress | Bow Twist Dress | Sleeveless Sheath Dress | One Shoulder Bow Dress | Pleated Dress
And what kind of jumpsuit lover would I be if I didn’t take the time to share some of my favorites here that are perfect for a wedding? Not a very good one that’s what. You can read about all my favorite places to buy rompers and jumpsuits here, but I have to say – busting one out for a wedding might be my favorite party trick of all. First of all – they’re great for dancing and when you pair them with heels your legs look a mile long. My best recommendation is trying them on ahead of time and making sure you get them hemmed as needed. Also to note, I really love a good jumpsuit for rehearsal dinners if you’re not ready to go full-on one piece for the big show 😉 These are my favorites for partying!
Cutout Back Coral Jumpsuit | Royal Blue Jumpsuit | Wide Leg Jumpsuit | Belted Jumpsuit | One Shoulder Jumpsuit
And really quickly – let’s chat shoes. I used to be a big closed toe shoe gal, but lately I’m only reaching for the below assortment. And if we’re being even more honest – they are all the same shoe in different colors/variations. They’re $30 and worth every penny. I’ve worn them out on the town, to a bachelorette party, for another wedding, to a rehearsal dinner, a regular date night and everywhere in between. Honestly you can’t beat the price/quality, so stock up!
Glitter Heel | Regular Heel | Satin Heel
And there you have it! I sincerely hope this roundup was helpful and I tried to include wedding guest dresses of all types – cocktail, formal, fun, yet fancy, and overall classic enough that they could be worn over and over again. Let me know your favorite or if there’s a go to dress you love!
