Happy Monday + week of Thanksgiving! I’m back again for my third gift guide of the season and today’s is for all my fellow beach lovers and tropical destination enthusiasts! It’s that time of the year when shopping goes into overdrive and we’re all out there trying to figure out what to gift all our favorite people. I’m taking a new approach to gifting this year – something that fits into 4 distinct categories: WANT, NEED, WEAR, READ. If you have a beach lover or sun worshipper in your life, I’m sharing all the things I love the most when I’m laying on the beach or poolside. I happen to own all of the products on this list, so I can vouch that they are worth the spend and any beach lover in your life is sure to appreciate the thoughtful gesture. Hydro Flask – The straw lid is key here! If you’re lounging by the pool or on the beach (or heck – even on a boat), you don’t want to be unscrewing your lid each and every time. If you’ve been around here for awhile, you know that my love affair with Hydro Flasks runs deep. This gift is THE BEST ONE for any person on your list this year.

Cuervo Classic Surf Edition – Where are my fellow tequila lovers? Bum Bum Cream – You guys, I fell in love with this lotion last year and it’s truly the gift that just keeps on giving. It smells SO GOOD. I’ve turned a handful of my friends on to it just by traveling with them, because they’re like “what the heck is that delicious smell?!” Well – it’s BUM BUM CREAM! Yes it tightens, yes it smells good, yes it moisturizes and YES it smells like a trip to the beach. I would gift this to any of my fellow beach bums! I also use the spray + lip butter and love both. They all share the same delicious scent 🙂

Drink Rafts – These are so fun for the pool and ensure that your drink doesn’t get mixed with the pool water 😉

Waterproof Cell Phone Pouch – Honestly, what can’t you buy off Amazon?! Some of my greatest finds are from that delightful site and this waterproof cell pouch is one of them. It’s not only great for beach lovers, but also adventure enthusiasts who want nice photos without the risk of ruining a rather expensive electronic! For the price (less than $10!), you can’t beat it!

Coffee Table Books – My, oh my. If I had a love language it might be beautiful beach-y themed coffee table books. It also might be my favorite gift to give, because they’re just so pretty! My favorites are Surf Shack and Escape, because the photography is just so brilliant.

XL Waterproof Beach Bag – I’ve used this bag since I got it last year and let me just say – it fits EVERYTHING. Seriously, I cannot think of a bigger bag I have that isn’t a rolling suitcase. It’s fully waterproof so all your goods are protected and there’s a nice plastic pouch on the inside that can hold things like chapstick, your cell phone or some cash (things you might not want exposed). Bogg Bag has hit a home-run with these!

Adopt A Sea Turtle – This one speaks right to my heart, because animals hold such a special place in my life. Of course, living in Hawaii, I’m partial to sea turtles and the issues they face at the hands of careless humans who kill them for turtle soup, poach their eggs or litter the ocean with objects that will kill them. Talk about a gift with impact!

Turkish Towel – I’ve sung the praises of these towels since I was introduced to them. They dry quickly, are absorbent, and let’s face it – they’re cute! I even use them as regular towels in the summer months since they dry so quickly and don’t get a “damp” smell. Gifting them in a total no-brainer this holiday.

Reef Safe Sunscreen – I know it seems kind of silly to gift someone sunscreen, but hear me out! Gifts with a purpose always impress the heck out of me, so if someone gave me Stream2Sea and explained that it was reef safe and put a heavy emphasis on keeping our oceans clean – I would be majorly impressed.

Hydrating Face Mist – Truth be told, this hydrating face mist is a must all year round, but I really love it for extra hot beach days. Beach Walk Perfume – I have been lusting after this fragrance ever since I smelled it for the first time at the mall. It smells EXACTLY like it says — the beach. I don’t know how they do it, but it amazes me every single time. One whiff and I’m mentally on the sand with a cocktail in hand!

Ocean Waves Spray – Wishing for those beach waves, but living that land-locked life? This formula is infused with rice protein to add hold and memory for that just-got-out-of-the-ocean look and it IS FREAKING AMAZING! It’s not a surprise, because it was formulated by Hawaii-native Jen Atkin who knows a thing or two about that effortless ocean look 😉
