Hello friends! It’s that time of the year when shopping goes into overdrive and we’re all out there trying to figure out what to gift all our favorite people. I’m taking a new approach to gifting this year – something that fits into 4 distinct categories: WANT, NEED, WEAR, READ. If you have a traveler in your life, I’m sharing all the things I love the most when I’m taking trains, planes and automobiles to my next destination. I happen to own all of the products on this list, so I can vouch that they are worth the spend and any traveler in your life is sure to appreciate the thoughtful gesture. Magazine Subscription – Giving the gift of magazines is probably one of my favorite gifts. It’s kind of unexpected and truly is the gift that keeps on giving, as recipients can enjoy it throughout the year! I recommend Travel + Leisure or Conde Nast Traveler!

Carry-on Rolling Suitcase – I think I made my love for Genius Pack apparent in this post, but just in case – YOU NEED ONE IN YOUR LIFE. I am a chronic over packer and I managed to fit everything I needed (and probably more) into this 21 inch roller carry on. It has amazing space for organizing, comes with a durable exterior and there’s even a packing list printed on the inside so you don’t forget anything. If there’s one thing any traveler needs on this list – it’s this.

Hydro Flask – What is there to say about the best water bottle on the planet? Oh yeah – EVERYONE NEEDS ONE. GoPro – This one is definitely a bit of a splurge (so save it for your FAVE), but with the capability to take both hi-res photo and video, it’s the ideal gift for someone seeking an all-in-one style camera. It’s compact size and endless accessories are just icing on the cake!

Travel Journal – Who doesn’t want to document their adventures in a fun + unique way? Bonus points to this specific journal for encouraging users to explore the easily overlooked and wonderful everyday details encountered while traveling!
