Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you all had a great week. I shared yesterday that this week sort of tripped me up a little bit, but no complaints, because I truly enjoy a 3-day weekend. Who doesn’t? In any case, today’s post is going to be a bit more conversational than usual. Today I’m sharing 5 things we would chat about if we were enjoying coffee together.
Oh how I wish I could grab a cup of coffee with all of you! But if we were sharing a cup together in my living room, I would tell you…
I’m feeling a bit lost in this space. I love coming here every day to chat about various topics, but sometimes I feel like the topics I’m sharing are worn out or boring. Maybe it’s just me, because I am, of course, the one who spends the most time behind the scenes, so I really do hope someone would tell me if that was the case! I’d love your thoughts on the topic, so I created a form you can use here. It’s completely anonymous so feel free to let me know your thoughts on topics you’d like to see, what there might be too much of, or just general feedback — I’m welcoming it all (since I can’t host every single person in my living room, of course :))
I would also share with you that Dane and I had every intention of staying put for awhile this year, but that went right out the window when we found very cheap airfare to a lingering bucket list destination. I’m eager for a big spring trip on the horizon and the opportunity to explore a new place.
I would also tell you that I read the most interesting article about alligators who are frozen with their snouts above the water level in North Carolina. I know it sounds kind of crazy, but it’s a survival mechanism for them and I was so fascinated with it after I read the article that I fell down a hole of Googling alligator tendencies.
If I’m being honest, I would probably be wearing this wrap cardigan my friend Casey got me while we were chatting. It’s amazing, because it’s both a cardigan and a scarf all in one. Here’s a quick glimpse of it from Las Vegas. It’s become my favorite “throw on and go” piece and it’s great for travel. The bonus for all of you is that it’s half off right now! Shop it here or maybe grab one to gift later this year. It’s such a good price right now I’m debating who I can purchase one for, LOL!
And finally – I’d ask you what you were making for dinner. I’m on the hunt for new favorites to add to our recipe rotation and sometimes I feel like Pinterest shows me the same things over and over again. I like reading “round up” style blog posts from fellow bloggers to see what they’ve got cooking in their kitchen for serious inspiration, so if you’ve got a winner, please share!
Thanks for stopping by today – I hope you have a great weekend!
