TGIF, am I right? Today I’m sharing 4 new-to-me products and my thoughts on them. Let’s get right down to business…!
4 New-To-Me Products + My Thoughts
Live A Great Story – My friend Kelly sent me the coolest journal from “Live A Great Story” last week and I couldn’t wait to dive in. It’s a little booklet that comes with exercises to help you hone what’s most important in your life. Beyond that, it guides you to create steps to manifest big goals and aspirations, which I think is the most important part. It’s great to dream, but you’ve got to make check points for meeting your goals! It’s not a very big guide, but definitely one I’m focusing on this month in my morning mindfulness routine. Last month I dove into “Joyful” and this month is a bit more interactive, which I’m loving so far!
Survivor Eyes – My friend Lisa is a cancer survivor and the brains behind this amazing company! I met her at a convention a few years ago and when her product launched, she sent me a kit to check out. Survivor Eyes is a kit that includes 10 brow templates, a cosmetic applicator and blender, waterproof eyebrow pencil and a little instruction manual. After going through treatment, Lisa realized the challenges faced by patients and wanted to create a product (for men AND women) that instilled a bit of self confidence. What I love most? 5% of annual profits generated will go toward charities that help those struggling with loss. I love what Lisa’s company is doing and am happy to share it here, because what she’s providing for survivors is so inspiring.
Allbirds – You might remember my post on the best Allbirds dupes last week. Once I realized I could order them off Nordstrom (though it appears they are sold out again!), I swooped them up immediately in my size using a gift card I got for my birthday. Turns out – the hype is real. They are like walking on pillows. I’ve only worn them once, but it was one time worth remembering for both comfort and fit. I’ll be wearing them on some upcoming trips, so I will give a full, more detailed review then. First impression – 9/10, but only because my feet sweat a bit given the wool lining!
Lipstick Holder For Essential Oils – I’ve seen people all over the internet raving about using those pretty lucite containers made for makeup for organizing their essential oils. BRILLIANT!, I thought. Well, as it turns out, I think it must be very specific models of lipstick holders, because my oils are very much too large for the ones I bought, which makes me sad, because I tore into them ready to organize like a rabid raccoon. So now I have two, 12-hole lipstick organizers for the 2 lipsticks I wear. Tis a shame, LOL! Any good oil organizing hacks that aren’t arranging them on a shelf (no room) or in a basket (too cluttered for me)?!
