TGIF + Happy March! I’m so excited to see Friday. It’s our last weekend before our trip (more on that next week) and it’s also the first of “5 Things I Love Friday”, a new series I hope to keep up with where I share what I’m loving lately. I kind of felt like my ‘5 On Friday’ posts and ‘Life Lately’ posts were starting to merge together and seemed a little redundant, so I decided to come up with something new. We will see how long it lasts + be sure to let me know your thoughts, too! In any case, let’s get this ball rolling!
5 Things I Love Friday
Tide Sink Packs – Because we are getting ready to go away, I’ve stocked up on the Tide Sink Packs which are amazing for travel. I forget who told me about them, but it’s been a love affair ever since. They are wonderful for throwing in your suitcase and doing some hotel room laundry. I wish I could find them in the stores, but sadly I’ve only ever seen them online. Seriously, if you travel – these are a must!
Long Maxi Dress – I ordered this for our upcoming trip, because I was coming up empty handed on finding some clothes that were modest and covered both my knees and shoulders. I saw this and thought I’d give it a try. I snagged it in dark grey, but now I wish I would have gotten more colors because it’s AWESOME! Seriously! The price to quality cannot be beat and it’s so soft and comfortable. Plus – it has pocket! HELLO WONDERFUL!
Glass Spray Bottle – I pulled the trigger on this duo of glass bottles so that I could make my own cleaning spray and I anxiously awaited the post man. They finally arrived last weekend and I was ELATED! They are high quality and I love that they’re amber glass. I could have picked up some plastic bottles at my local Target, but I specifically wanted glass, because I’ve heard that essential oils can sometimes break down the plastic. I’m not sure, but either way – I really like them so far + you can’t beat the price for two!
Long Sleeve Top – You may recognize this top from any number of posts lately, but it’s been in heavy rotation and I just ordered a second color. I love the fit (I wear a small), that it doesn’t ride up like some tops and that it is breathable, so even if you start to sweat, you’ve got a good ventilation system. To be honest, I wear it as both athleisure and with jeans/jean shorts. It is so comfy!
Sofa – Dane and I finally have a sofa! ::cue angels singing:: It’s been a long time coming and our living room got the makeover it deserved after many, many months of it being pretty bare bones. I can’t wait to show you the full reveal next week!
