TGIF! I hope you all had a wonderful week. My mom is in town so we’ve been driving all around the island playing tourist and just spending time together — my absolute favorite! Anyway, let’s dive into this week’s edition of 5 Things I Love Friday…it’s filled with everything I’m loving right now!
5 Things I Love Friday
MODERE Body Butter – If you’ve been around here for awhile you might remember my post about using MODERE skincare and then my follow-up post about how MODERE skincare wasn’t a great fit for me. Anyway – what IS a good fit for me is the MODERE Body Butter. It’s a super thick body cream that you don’t need a ton of, but man it has totally changed my skin. It is probably the best body cream I’ve used in a long time. Thankfully when my mom arrived, she brought me a new tube!
And speaking of…My mom’s in town! It’s been such a treat to have her here just doing life with us. We’ve had a few beach days, some Costco trips, she’s helped me meal prep, clean my house, and just generally hang out. We even had a Netflix marathon one rainy day. I’m already plotting how to keep her here forever.
North Shore of Oahu Road Trip and Which Hawaiian Island Should You Visit are two pieces I’ve had go live lately over on Coastal Living. Writing for them is a dream come true and I’ve loved being able to mix my love of writing and the beach for their platform. Check them out if you’re in the market for some Oahu tips or just trying to decide which island to visit on your next vacation 🙂
Kauai Coffee – We got my mom hooked on this stuff while she has been here! In fact, she’s already set it up to be delivered to her house when she gets home. Yes, it’s THAT good. If you’re a coffee snob (like I am), this blend is a must for your Keurig refillable pods or coffee pot. It’s strong Hawaiian coffee with a creamy coconut-y caramel finish. I look forward to my first cup in the mornings!
And that about wraps things up. I’ve really been soaking in time with my mom so I’ve been a bit absent here and on social, which is totally a good thing. Sometimes just living life without documenting it is just what the doctor ordered 🙂
