5 Things I Love Friday

You guys, I fell off the wagon again with these posts while my parents were here. I had every intention of still sitting down to peck them out, but it just never happened. I won’t apologize for spending quality time with them and just living in the moment, but I sure am glad to be back with today’s lineup! TGIF + let’s get in to today’s 5 Things I Love Friday!

5 Things I Love Friday

CBD Gummies – I’ve been taking them for a little while now and I would, without a doubt, recommend them to anyone who asked me. I know they’re kind of controversial, but they have really worked for me when it comes to calming down at night and then staying asleep. Maybe I should do an entire post on this?!

Love First Tee – My mom shared this tee with me and then pointed it out today when Hoda from TODAY wore it on her Instagram. I love the simple message, but I REALLY love that a portion of the proceeds goes to a human rights campaign. 

Cold Brew Bears – Sugarfina announced earlier this month (or maybe late last month?) that they would be introducing cold brew infused gummy bears. I had my hesitations, because I typically like my caffeine where I can see it — right in my mug. BUT! I love a good gummy and candy combo, so I wanted to try them. You guys – they’re delicious and they have NAILED the coffee flavor. It’s not that weird generic coffee flavoring that is something in coffee-flavored treats — it’s the real deal. I tried all the flavors and like the Iced Vanilla Latte Bears the best. 

iPhone XR – If anyone follows me on Instagram, then you are intimately familiar with the craziness that has ensued trying to switch carriers from AT&T to T-Mobile. Because of this transition, I was also forced to upgrade my phone. I was pretty upset about losing the button on my phone. Why was I so attached? I have no idea. That is neither here nor there, because with one week of use under my belt sans button — I am a convert. If you, too, are attached to your iPhone button, let me be the first to tell you…it will be okay. The camera skills alone are enough to knock my DSLR off its tripod! I’m still getting used to facial recognition, but it’s safe to say now that all the kinks have been worked out, I am a believer. 

Tassel cover-up – Dane has laughed at me for years about buying clothing from the kid’s section but hey — when something is cute it’s cute. PERIOD. So when I saw this adorable tassel swim cover up that includes two of my favorite things (neon and sparkle) PLUS TASSELS, I knew it had to come home with me. I picked it up in an XL and 10/10 recommend it. It fits me like a small in women’s and is under $20!
