HOW IS IT JUNE?! I’m so excited to be linking up with Anne for her monthly Currently series! If you have absolutely no clue what I’m talking about, pop over to her site and take a peek around — you WILL NOT be disappointed I love, love, love this series and today I’m joining her and some of the fabulous faces who frequent her internet space for this month’s Currently, which covers what I’m currently picking, going, wishing, wearing, and celebrating.
Currently
Picking
A new show to watch and we are leaning toward Chernobyl. Everyone I’ve talked to is raving about it, but we have yet to dive in. Have you watched it? We recently binged Catch 22 (Hulu) and it was awesome. There wasn’t as much George Clooney as I thought there might be based on the previews, but it was a fantastic mini-series. We loved it!
Going
To Utah! Well, not for another month, but I’m already counting down. We are going to be doing some sightseeing and hiking in the SLC, Deer Valley and Moab area, so if you’ve been, let’s chat — what did you love best?
Wishing
Our families lived closer. I say this all the time, but there is nothing like Hawaii to make you feel so dang far. We love our life here and we certainly feel very grateful to live here, but each and every time our family visits, we are reminded that the “see you laters” never get easier. It’s a tough pill to swallow.
Wearing
These overalls on repeat. You guys, I know that some people have very strong opinions on the look for adults, but I, for one, am here for it. It’s definitely become my summer uniform and this pair is super comfortable (even for long torsos like me!) . If you’re on a budget (hi, hello, me) and looking to rock the overall look for less, look no further!
Celebrating
Our anniversary later this summer! Each year, we travel for our anniversary and forgo any sort of tangible gift item. This year, we decided that a luxury staycation was in order and picked the Four Seasons Hualalai on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are pumped! After our weekend at FS Lanai, we realized that one thing we loved was being in vacation mode with minimal flight time, so picking a FS property we have never visited was a no-brainer.
