5 Things I Love Friday

TGIF! Hopefully everyone had a fantastic week! Today I’m back with this week’s edition of 5 Things I Love Friday and since I missed last week, I’m ready to go all in this week. I’m dishing on my favorite flowers, a funny-but-true environmental awareness meme, two new-to-me favorites and more. Happy weekend, friends!

5 Things I Love Friday

Big Island trip – This week had me daydreaming about our upcoming weekend away to the Big Island. It’s the first time we are heading over there without renting a car. We splurged on our resort and just want to sit still and relax. That’s not our usual M.O., so I really can’t wait to unwind for a few days as we celebrate our anniversary. 

Neon Pink Athleta Long Line Bra – This bra is a design dream and I’m not just saying it because it’s neon pink. It’s considered a “long line” bra, so it extends further down your torso and for me, it means better support. The material is buttery soft, the criss-cross design in the back adds a little pop of fun, and it comes in a couple different colors if neon pink isn’t your thing. I love mine and I thought I loved Old Navy bras best. There’s a new sheriff in town…

Environmental Awareness – Okay, so this Lorax meme just made me laugh. But also — I will. Littering is gross and wrong. It’s 2019. Pick up after yourself. 

Peonies – Earlier this month, Dane came home with a bunch of peonies and some creams hydrangea (our wedding flowers) to celebrate our anniversary month. It’s incredible how fresh flowers instantly lift my mood. It certainly helped they were my favorites! 

Oversized Sweatshirt – I saw this sweatshirt when I was at the mall a couple weeks ago and I was sweating so badly I didn’t even give it a second thought, but I remember thinking…those colors are so vibrant and I love how long it is! I was poking around the website later and saw they got rave reviews. This isn’t surprising at all to me, but the photo reviews I saw convinced me it’s a good fall closet staple to throw on and go (covers the butt with leggings!). I snagged it at 30% off, so definitely wait for a sale!
